Forest Hills Road-Burden Road intersection in Machesney Park closed Sept. 13-14

MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. — The intersection of Forest Hills Road and Burden Road will be closed at midnight, Thursday Sept. 13, through 5 a.m., Friday, Sept. 14, for asphalt paving of the intersection, the Village of Machesney Park announced.

This work is being completed as part of the Forest Hills Road-Burden Road Turn Lane Improvements project.

The intersection will be closed completely. Traffic east of the closure will need to exit the area to the east. Traffic south of the closure will need to exit the area to the south. Traffic on Route 251 will not be able to turn onto Forest Hills Road.
