La Voz Latina’s Annual Banquet at Cliffbreakers Sept. 28

La Voz Latina welcomes the community to join them in an evening of Latino-inspired food, music and fun at their Annual Banquet Friday, Sept. 28, at Cliffbreakers Riverside Resort, 700 W. Riverside Blvd., Rockford.
The event celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and the contributions of local Hispanics to the Rockford community.
Awards will be presented to individuals who have supported the organization and the Latino community. The recipients of the “Latinos of Distinction” award will be Latino adults who exemplify the characteristics of positive role models and inspire students of all ethnicities to graduate from high school and to continue in attaining higher education.
Additional awards of distinction will be presented for Corporate Partner, Board Member, Community Member and Volunteer of the Year.
