League of Women Voters offers voter registration events

The League of Women Voters of Greater Rockford will offer a series of voter registration events leading up to the Nov. 6 General Election.
If you have moved or changed your name, you need to register again. You must be at least 18 years of age and present two forms of identification. One must be a current valid photo identification. Oct. 9 is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 6 election.
Following, by date, are upcoming voter registration events:
• Sept. 19 — North Suburban Library, 6340 N. Second St., Loves Park, 5-7:30 p.m.
• Sept. 20 — Rock Valley College Stenstrom Center, 4151 Samuelson Road, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Sept. 22 — North Suburban Library, 6340 N. Second St., Loves Park, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Sept. 25 — Pecatonica High School, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Sept 26 — Rock Valley Learning and Opportunity Center, Downtown Campus, 308 W. State St., 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
• Sept. 29-30, Logli, Charles Street, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, and noon-5 p.m., Sunday.
• Sept. 29-30, Hilander, Brynwood, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, and noon-5 p.m., Sunday.
• Sept. 29-30, Hilander, Roscoe, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, and noon-5 p.m., Sunday.
• Oct. 6-7, Logli: East State, Rockton Avenue, Harlem Road, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday and noon-5 p.m., Sunday.
• Oct. 6-7, Hilander, South Alpine, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, and noon-5 p.m., Sunday.
