Oct. 9 deadline to register to vote in Nov. 6 General Election

The Rockford Board of Election Commissioners has announced the deadline for voter registration for the Tuesday, Nov. 6, General Election is Tuesday, Oct. 9.

Board of Election Commissioners hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., weekdays, and 9 a.m.-noon, Saturdays.

The election office is at 301 S. Sixth St., Rockford, and can be reached at (815) 987-5750.
