Sept. 20 ‘An Evening to Remember’ benefits Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs

BELOIT, Wis. — The Ninth Annual “An Evening to Remember” International Wine Tasting event will be from 6 to 10 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20, at the Country Club of Beloit, Wis., 2327 S. Riverside Drive, Beloit, Wis.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs, which have locations in Beloit, Wis., and South Beloit, Ill., and serve more than 2,000 children annually.

Guests will have the opportunity to sample and purchase wines, enjoy a variety of heavy hors d’oeuvres and desserts, play the wine game, and bid on silent auction items including iPads, an iPod Touch, an autographed Donald Driver Packers football, a women’s Brian Urlacher Bears jersey, golf passes, an in-home catered cocktail party and tools.

For those looking to travel, there will also be packages ranging from day trips to amusement and water parks, to overnight stays both locally and far from home.

Gift baskets will feature wine, beauty products, gourmet food, candles and the like for those looking for a little bit of everything.

Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door for $100 per couple or $75 per person. Dress is business casual.
