Small section of Rock River Recreation Path closed until Sept. 29

A small segment of the Rock River Recreation Path will be closed beginning today, Monday, Sept. 24.
The area affected is north of the Log Lodge and south of the Sea Scout building.
Crews will be removing the old pavement and repaving that section of the path. Barricades will be located along the recreation path to alert path users of the construction.
Weather permitting, work is expected to be completed by Saturday, Sept. 29. For additional information, contact the Rockford Park District at (815) 987-8800.
