Online Staff Report

Walk to Remember,” a memorial event in honor of children lost through stillbirth, early infant death, early childhood death, miscarriage and ectopic pregnancy, will be Sunday, Oct. 7.

The walk and ceremony begin at 1 p.m. at the YMCA Log Lodge, followed by a walk along the Sinnissippi Bike Path to a dedication site just north of the Auburn Street Bridge, where children will be honored with the dedication of memorial bricks.

The event will conclude after refreshments back at the Log Lodge.

The ceremony will include music, messages and sharing. Attendees are welcome to bring a special memory of their child, such as a brief letter or poem.

There is no charge, and this is not a fund-raiser.
