North Towne at one time was a great shopping center with Dittos, Bergners, movies, etc. Downtown was great with movies, Bergners, Penneys, Fannie May, etc. Now there is basically no shopping in either of these locations. On the Northwest side we have limited grocery stores which are more expensive and dirtier than on the east side. I will not shop at North Town and do not go downtown. Actually there is no reason to and who wants to be in those areas after dark. This is happening all over the west side of the city.
