James C. Davis,

Thank you for your question. My case against hydraulic fracturing is strongly felt, though I am not blind to the realities of our modern "comfortable" lifestyle. I fundamentally disagree with all mining intensive energy resources but recognize that the behavior and policies of the past century will not be halted by the flip of a switch or the turn of a valve. Rather, I am urging the public to explore and support alternative energy sources, question the sustainability of fossil fuels and ultimately consume less energy. The solution to these important energy and environmental issues is not to say "this will never work" but rather to ask "how can I help". Our energy solutions are as old as the nearest star. It is the responsibility of all responsible citizens to advance our resources beyond corporate control and begin utilizing the renewable energy sources around us. This can be done with a little bit of thinking and an open mind.

Mr. Barron

When the wind stops blowing & the sun doesn't shine in the winter time how do you expect to stay warm in Freepor?
I expect that you have the same reservations about coal&nuclear generated power.
