Remember the Winnebago County Board vote on landfill expansion
Are you happy with the landfill expansion? If you are, you must remember who voted for it and vote your choice. If you’re like me, the value of your home has depreciated, you can’t enjoy the outdoors, have to keep your windows and doors shut, even in nice weather; then vote against them. A reminder of those who voted for it is listed for your convenience.
Isidro Barrios (D-11); John Cabello (R-8); Angie Goral (D-7); John Guevara (R-13); Kevin Horstman (R-5); Bob Kinnison (R-10); Jim Webster (R-2); Dianne Parvin (R-4); John Sweeney (R-14); Marc Gasparini (R-1); Ted Biondo (R-9); Frank Gambino (R-14); Pearl Hawks (D-6); Gary Jury (R-3); L.C. Wilson (D-12); Fred Wescott (R-9); Dave Tassoni (D-7); Kay Mullins (R-8); Rick Pollack (R-13); Kyle Logan (R-3).
See you at the polls!

What a great thing, thank you to the author for such a timely reminder. They surely don’t seem to be serving the people anymore, just their own agendas! I sure hope they can lose that vote on the landfill as it was done so illegally and was already a “done deal” even way before the mockery of the public hearings that meant nothing. Yes remember these names when going to the polls to vote against these sleazebags.
Please any landfill odors to the Illinois EPA at: http://www.epa.state.il.us/pollution-complaint/
That would be “please report” any landfill odors to the Illinois EPA at: http://www.epa.state.il.us/pollution-complaint/
As you may already know, the Winnebago County Board approved the expansion of the Winnebago Landfill, despite many public concerns about the ongoing landfill air and water issues.
The landfill expansion is being challenged in court. Read more about the challenge here:

Currently seeking out a law firm from Chicago to start a class action lawsuit against both owners. The affected residents need to be compensated for their diminished quality of life.
Update of the Chicago Visitor seeking out a law firm from Chicago to start a class action suit against both owners. Yes the affected residents need to be compensated for their diminished quality of life and/or their illnesses as many including myself are physically sick due to Winnebago County Landfill being such a terrible landfill, their owners are only concerned about $$$ no matter who they hurt, mame or kill eventually. They have no conscience. Shame on them, the water is ruined for miles around for the almighty dollar, what greedy garbage dump bunch boys these are. Sickening.
