19-year-old arrested after allegedly firing gun at woman Oct. 13

Charles Workman, 19, has been arrested for aggravated battery with a firearm after allegedly shooting at a woman Saturday evening, Oct. 13.

Police responded to the intersection of Tanner Court and School Street in Rockford around 8 p.m., Oct. 13, where they heard gunshots. An 18-year-old female sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was released from the hospital.

A second individual was reportedly with Workman, although no further arrests have been made.
