BELOIT, Wis. — Get an early taste — or sip — of what is coming up at the Beloit International Film Festival (BIFF) in February.
The autumn screenings of BIFF Year Round will be in full swing this month with a special preview screening of Comeback, the Wisconsin Beer Movie, Saturday, Oct. 20. Drawn from the BIFF 2013 lineup, the film will be shown at Bushel and Peck’s Local Market, 328 State St., Beloit, Wis., at 5:30 p.m.
The film is a Wisconsin-directed and -produced documentary by Tim Tynan about the rise, fall and rise again of Wisconsin brewing. Tynan will attend the screening.
“Comeback, the Wisconsin Beer Movie is one of the projected favorites for BIFF 2013,” said Melissa Hawks, BIFF’s creative director. “We wanted to share it with our audiences a little bit early and are also excited to have the director joining us for a question-and-answer session after the film.”
