Police look for clues in Sept. 27 murder of 85-year-old

Rockford police are conducting a murder investigation of the Sept. 27 death of 85-year-old Ocie Hughes.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m., Sept. 27, Rockford police responded to 2115 Martha in reference to a death investigation. Trauma was located on the body of Hughes.

Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call the Rockford Police Shift Commander at (815) 987-5824 or Crime Stoppers (815) 963-7867.
