Red Ribbon Drug Prevention Fun Fair Oct. 20 at Boylan High School

Forty-five exhibitors are primed to present healthy messages in a fun, non-threatening environment during the 23rd Annual Red Ribbon Drug Prevention Fun Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 20, at Boylan Catholic High School, 4000 Saint Francis Drive, Rockford.

With drug abuse and obesity at epidemic rates, the community will make a serious attempt to given our youth the skills needed to make healthy choices in their life.

The Rockford Fire Department and Red Ribbon Program will present awards to students who excelled in the Fire Prevention Poster Contest beginning at 11 a.m. in the cafeteria.

The Red Ribbon Program is the longest running prevention program in the area. For more details, contact Program Cooridnator Paul Perrone at (815) 222-4349.
