Beloit, Wis., man dies in Oct. 21 motorcycle accident on Sandy Hollow

Andrew Stratton, 22, of Beloit, Wis., died Sunday, Oct. 21, after being involved in a motorcycle accident on Sandy Hollow Road at the intersection with 16th Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:30 p.m.
Rockford Police Department is investigating the accident. An autopsy was to be performed Monday, Oct. 22.
According to the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office, Stratton’s cause of death is severe head trauma as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
