‘Spooky Science’ at Discovery Center Museum Oct. 27

Rockford’s Discovery Center Museum will offer a fun, safe and not-too-scary Halloween celebration titled “Spooky Science” from 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27. The event will be spooky enough for haunt-seekers, but friendly enough for all ages.
Attend in costume. Following is a rundown of special activities available during the event: make real slime; play with black light; meet famous “dead” scientists and enjoy their “Dead Science Demonstrations”; make spooky art; and decorate treat bags.
Admission to the event is $8 per person for the general public or $3 per person for members. Admission will include all related activities. Parking is free at 711 N. Main St.
