Local Democrats, Republicans to gather on election night to watch results

Winnebago County Democrats and Winnebago County Republicans have announced the locations of their Tuesday, Nov. 6, general election night gatherings.

Democrats will gather at the IBEW Local 364 Banquet Hall, 6820 Mill Road, Rockford, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The gathering will last until final results are announced.

Republicans will gather at Giovanni’s Restaurant and Convention Center, 610 N. Bell School Road, Rockford, beginning at 7 p.m. Light refreshments will be available, as will a number of television screens to follow the evening’s news events.
