Outsourcing had nothing to do with Bain capital or Mitt Romney. They were very profitable and started showing losses in late 2008 and most of 2009. They have laid off about 20% of their work force worldwide because of the economy to become more efficient. This whole Freeport closing is obviously a political thing with the union being used to attack Romney by bringing in the likes of Durbin, Jesse Jackson and Sharpton. With a total payroll or $7.7 million with only 170 employees and a profit of only $1.3 million projected, it is no wonder the plant is closing. Just tell it like it is. It is being eliminated by a slowing economy, high union wages/benefits, and presidential leadership that is anti-business. I am tired of listening to the biased news reporting, unions, self serving politicians and radical activists. Good riddance to all.
