Polls open 6 a.m.-7 p.m., Nov. 6

Months of campaigning, debating, bickering, finger-pointing, pandering and, well, lying, will culminate Tuesday, Nov. 6, as Americans head to the polls to vote in the General Election. Locally, polls will be open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6. Visit www.voterockford.com or elections.winnebagocountyclerk.com to find your polling place and view sample ballots.

Early voting can be done through Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Rockford Board of Elections office, 301 S. Sixth St. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday, and 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Nov. 3.

Early voting is also available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday, through Nov. 2, at the following facilities: Heartland Community Church, 1280 S. Alpine Road; and Riverfront Museum Park, 711 N. Main St.
