Sinnissippi Lagoon to reopen as Eclipse Lagoon at Thursday, Nov. 8, ceremony

The former Sinnissippi Lagoon will reopen as the Eclipse Lagoon at a special dedication ceremony at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8.

The ceremony will recognize the completion of the Eclipse Lagoon and Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens’ Phase II improvements.

The lagoon is near Nicholas Conservatory & Gardens, 1354 N. Second St., Rockford. A tent will be set up outside the conservatory for the Nov. 8 ceremony.
