Veterans Day observance at Memorial Hall Nov. 10

The Rockford Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a Veterans Day observance beginning at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 10, at Rockford’s Veterans Memorial Hall, 211 N. Main St.

The event will include a presentation titled “Veterans — Everlasting Examples of Strong Character.” Brochures will be available about veteran benefits in Winnebago County. Light refreshments will be served after the event.

The event is free and open to the public. Disabled access/elevator and disabled parking are available.
