‘Alaskan Explorer’ cruise to benefit Midwest Museum in Sycamore
SYCAMORE, Ill. — Those who have always wanted to see Alaska and have a chance to see the natural wonders of the great Northwest can realize that dream and also help the Midwest Museum of Natural History (MMNH) during next springs’s cruise to Alaska, May 11-19, 2013.
MMNH has teamed up with Holland American Line and Carder Travel for an opportunity to experience some of the natural and historic treasures of Alaska, and each ticket sold will include a tax-deductible donation to the museum. Reservations are now being accepted for the seven-day cruise that will depart May 11, 2013.
The trip begins with an included transfer from DeKalb to O’Hare airport for a flight to Seattle. There, the group enjoys a pre-cruise night to explore Seattle. Next, board the ms Oosterdam and cruise Puget Sound, Glacier Bay and visit Juneau, Sitka, Ketchikan and Victoria, British Columbia.
