Chemtool Incorporated is an official drop zone for Operation Support Our Troops America

Chemtool Incorporated and JA Frate are joining forces with Operation Support Our Troops America (OSOT), which is a volunteer-based 501(c)(3) organization. The Chemtool Incorporated Technology Center at 801 W. Rockton Road, in Rockton, Ill., will serve as a collection point for supplies to be sent overseas Nov. 23-25, 2012. JA Frate will have a semi trailer on site to house the collections. The goal is to completely fill the trailer with supplies for our troops.
OSOT stays in direct contact with the troops overseas and notes the items that the troops are requesting. They then collect those supplies and send 25-pound packages to individual military personnel.
A list of items is available online at www.osotamerica.org/get-involved/itemsneeded/ [1]. You can help by donating the following items to be included in boxes shipping to our troops. Needed items include:
Peanut Butter (28 oz. or less, plastic jars only)
Jelly (32 oz. or less, plastic jars only)
Individual hot and cold drink mix packets (Gatorade, Propel, hot chocolate, instant coffee, etc.)
Individually-wrapped packages of coffee creamer
Canned pasta/soup
Individually-wrapped snacks
Shaving cream (non-aerosol preferred
Body wash for men (18 oz. or less)
Handwarmers
Lip balm (Chapstick, etc.)
Over-the-counter cold medications — no liquids, please
Black or white socks — crew length with no visible logos
Each member of the military receives a package weighing approximately 25 pounds and costs about $25 to ship. Those donating are asked to please check the expiration dates on all items donated.
Drop zone location and time of operation is Chemtool Incorporated Technology Center, 801 W. Rockton Road, Rockton. Hours are Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 24, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m and Sunday, Nov. 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
