Local country and folk singer releases new album

BELVIDERE, Ill. — Independent record label Tate Music Group has announced the release of Dan Holmes’ new album, Something that Matters.
Produced by Tate Music Group, the album offers eight tracks and is readily available for purchase nationwide at the iTunes Store, Amazon.com or directly from TateMusicGroup.com.
Holmes got interested in music when he was still a young boy. He first learned the guitar when he was about 10 years old, and has not stopped playing since.
Holmes was mostly influenced by artists like James Taylor and Jim Croce. He eventually began performing and touring as he grew older, and also started to dabble in song writing. He enjoys performing in front of people in hopes of inspiring them through his music.
The album Something that Matters is packed with country and folk songs. Overall, the album has a fresh vibe.
