The charming, seemingly innocent and sweet old spinster Brewster sisters are devoted to family and a unique version of charitable work. However, their nephew discovers they have a gruesome hobby and declares that “insanity runs in the family.” Could it be that his dear sweet aunts are homicidal maniacs? The classic comedy stands the test of time to remain as funny today as it was in the 1941 Frank Capra film adaptation.
Arsenic and Old Lace will be staged Feb. 8-10 and 15-17, at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays.
