Give the gift of lifelong learning

The frenzy of holiday shopping is upon us, and many of us are still looking for that perfect gift for someone on our list. Do you have adult family members, parents, a spouse or special friends who are age 50 or older, and you don’t know what to get them? The perfect gift says, “I see you as vital and exciting!” How about the gift of lifelong learning? The Rock Valley College (RVC) Center for Learning in Retirement (CLR) has the perfect option: a gift of a CLR membership, classes and more!

While you can give any amount on a gift certificate, a year’s membership to CLR is $25. This allows the recipient to choose from a variety of exciting classes, trips, fitness programs, special interest groups and social opportunities that appeal to almost any interest area.

For a few dollars more, you may include attendance at a class of their choice, a trip or many other options.

The amount you spend is up to you, and the staff of CLR is pleased to assist you with the process. And remember, CLR gift certificates are not just for the holidays — you can give the gift of CLR at any time for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, anniversaries or other special occasions.
