Klehm offers ‘Winter 2013: Amateur Photography Contest’

Photographers of all ages are invited to capture snowy landscapes, wildlife and plants in their winter form in Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden’s “Winter 2013: Amateur Photography Contest.”
The contest runs through Feb. 28, 2013, and photos must be submitted by March 1, 2013. Winners will be announced March 13, 2013, and an award ceremony will be held March 23, 2013.
The goal of the competition is capture the spirit of the season at Klehm, 2715 S. Main St., Rockford.
An adult competition is open to ages 15 and older, while a children’s competition is open to ages 14 and younger. Participation is free.
