Oregon’s Rock River Center opens Technology Center
OREGON, Ill. — Rock River Center, 810 S. 10th St., Oregon, Ill., has opened a new Technology Center, inviting adults of all ages to learn essential computer skills.
Whether entirely new to computing or having some experience, the staff will assist with developing a fundamental understanding of computers by using the online program Microsoft Digital Literacy Curriculum.
From using the Internet to sending e-mail or creating a résumé, the Digital Literacy Curriculum helps you develop the essential skills you need to begin computing with confidence. This is a self-paced program, and you will receive a Digital Literacy Certificate after completion.
The Community Technology Center is open 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, with staff available. No registration is required and there is no charge for the program. The center will be closed Jan. 1.
