Rockford Winter Market opens Jan. 12

First Northern Credit Union and Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall are hosting the Third Annual Rockford Winter Market inside the warm comforts of Lou Bachrodt’s showroom across from CherryVale Mall at 7070 CherryVale North Blvd. in Rockford.

Last summer, Rockford’s City Market had a record-breaking season. For all those who are tired of the winter and can’t wait until the spring to experience the market, the event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12.

“Being a credit union, we genuinely support the Buy Local movement,” said Jon Pick, district manager of Financial Sales and Service with First Northern Credit Union. “Without community support, there would be no credit union. As a not-for-profit financial institution, we hope to serve our members in a more cost-effective manner and hopefully with a lilttle friendlier smile.”

Vendors for the Winter Market include: Blue Sky Distributors, The Paper Button, Etin’s Beauty, Bath & Body Fusion, Sweet Ambrosia, Kate’s Pie Shop, Presto Pesto, Candle Crest Soy, Café Woof Le Purr, KokoBear Bakery, Simple Elegance Personal Chefs, Karen Arthurs and more.
