Crusader hosts planned giving seminar for professional advisers

The Crusader Community Health Foundation will host a special seminar focused on helping advisers work with their clients to consider philanthropy as part of their estate planning. It will be from 7:30 to 9 a.m., Friday, Jan. 25, at Forest Hills Country Club, 5135 Forest Hills Road, Rockford. Attendees will learn ways to beetter integrate financial planning with charitable giving.
The seminar will be presented by Jim Provenza, attorney and CPA, who specializes in estate planning, estate administration, nonprofit law and income tax planning. The focus of the presentation is to assist clients to meet both financial and charitable goals while helping our community at the same time.
Estate planning attorneys, financial planners, certified public accountants, and life underwriters are invited to attend. There is no cost to attend, and breakfast will be served.
