Staff Report

Join Rockford Dance Company (RDC) and Stephen F. Vrtol III for the hysterical retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, The Three Little Pigs and Peter and the Wolf.

Could Mr. Wolf have been demonized through the press and by storytellers all these years? It is time to hear his side of the story!

Allow the uplifting and easily recognizable music and dance to bring these stories alive in an original production that will leave you in stitches.

The fast-paced Wolf Tales production will leave the audience to decide if the Wolf is truly big and bad, or just misunderstood. Creator Matthew Keefe promises a delightful depiction to be enjoyed by both children and adults alike.

The performance will be in Kresge Hall at the Riverfront Museum Park, 711 N. Main St., Rockford, at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26, and 3 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 27. The performance will be approximately one hour in length.

Tickets ($10) can be reserved by calling (815) 963-3341.

Special bonus: Use your Wolf Tales tickets to receive $2 off Discovery Center Museum admission on both Jan. 26 and 27.

From the Jan. 23-29, 2013, issue
