Person shot during Jan. 25 home invasion in Rockford

Three armed men who entered an apartment at 3303 Sun Valley Terrace around 10:53 a.m., Friday, Jan. 25, shot one person.
The victim was shot in the lower extremity and transported to a local hospital. The injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
The suspects were wearing masks and fled northbound on foot.
