Dave Fields plays at Mary’s Place Feb. 4

Crossroads Blues Society is holding a Blue Monday Show Monday, Feb. 4, at Mary’s Place, 602 N. Madison St., Rockford. Noted guitar player, singer and songwriter Dave Fields will appear at 7 p.m., bringing his high-energy brand of rocking blues to Rockford for the very first time. Admission is $5 for the show.

Reviewer Harmonica Joe Poluyankis wrote, “Detonation, Dave Fields’ third CD, is correctly named because it explodes with his powerful guitar style.” Fields reaches stratospheric levels in his work, amazing audiences all over the U.S.
