Four teens charged in Jan. 31 armed robbery of Rockford pizza delivery driver

Four male juveniles — three age 15 and one age 16 — have been charged in the Jan. 31 armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in the 2700 block of Colorado Avenue in Rockford.
Shortly before 9 p.m., Jan. 31, members of the Rockford Police Department responded to an address in the 2700 block of Colorado Avenue in reference to an armed robbery to a pizza delivery driver.
Officers met with the victim, who advised she was confronted by four suspects, some of whom were armed with handguns. The suspects demanded the money and food she had on her person.
The suspects fled from the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and the food she was delivering.
Members of the department conducted follow-up investigation to the incident. The four suspects were located in a residence in the 3200 block of Greendale Avenue.
The investigation is ongoing.
