Two Poplar Grove men charged with felony retail theft after thousands of dollars in stolen Walmart merchandise discovered

BELVIDERE, Ill. — Derrick Fiegel, 30, and Kameron Morris, 29, both of Poplar Grove, Ill., were arrested Jan. 25 after police raided a residence in Candlewick where thousands of dollars in stolen Walmart merchandise was discovered.
Fiegel and Morris were both charged with two counts of felony retail theft.
Belvidere police executed the search warrant in the 300 block of Constitution Drive. Among the items seized were large-screen televisions, computers, tools, various electronic devices and a lawnmower.
Belvidere detectives reportedly worked on the case with loss-prevention officers at Walmart over the past month.
Retail theft is a Class 4 felony, punishable by one to three years in prison.
