68-year-old Rockford man suffers life-threatening injuries after being struck by vehicle

A 68-year-old Rockford man suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross the street in the 4100 block of Harrison Avenue in Rockford at around 6 p.m., Monday, Feb. 4.

The man was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound on Harrison. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Names are not being released at this time, and no charges have been filed. The investigation is ongoing.
