Freeport Art Museum’s Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Tasting Feb. 8

FREEPORT, Ill. — Freeport Art Museum’s (FAM) 21st Annual Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Tasting is set for 6-9 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, at the museum, 121 N. Harlem Ave., Freeport, Ill.
Enjoy a variety of fine wines, world-class cheeses and decadent chocolates. All guests will receive a commemorative wine glass. There is also a silent auction featuring specialty wine, cheese and chocolate gifts.
More than 250 people attended last year’s event, raising $6,000 for the museum. Proceeds from the event support the FAM’s mission to promote art and culture in Freeport and northwest Illinois. The museum supports artists, exhibitions and its collection through fund-raising, special gatherings and educational events.
Tickets can be purchased online, by phone or in person. Visit www.freeportartmuseum.org [1] for more information. Tickets prices are $20 for members, $23 for non-members and $25 at the door. New museum members receive one free ticket to the Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Tasting. Current members will be eligible to receive two free tickets to the event by giving the gift of a membership to a friend.
FAM can be reached at (815) 235-9755. Regular hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday-Friday, and noon-5 p.m., Saturday. Museum admission is free, although donations are accepted.
