With all the ruts, dips, potholes it's a wonder all of the cars & trucks that have to drive on Rockford streets don't have to have shocks and springs replace weekly. I wonder what happens to all the taxes collected for road repairs? Try driving from the court house on State street to the tollway. Cars take a beating. A person has to have a 4-wheel drive to navigate the streets (if you can call them streets) of Rockford.
