Early voting begins

Early voting begins Monday, Feb. 11 at the Election Office, 301 S. Sixth St., for City of Rockford voters for the Consolidated Primary Election. A government-issued ID must be shown. Hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday; 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 16; 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 17; and 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Feb. 23.

Voting by mail may still be requested. Call (815) 987-5750. Available to all registered voters — no reason needed.
