Rockford Aviators baseball team unveils new logo
Online Staff Report
LOVES PARK, Ill. — The Rockford Aviators (formerly the RiverHawks) unveiled their logos, including a primary and four alternates, Wednesday, Feb. 13.
The team’s colors remain navy, orange and columbia blue.
“We received a lot of great feedback last year when we added orange and columbia blue to the already familiar navy, and wanted to keep that look,” said team President Bryan Wickline. “The initial reactions to the new logos have been very positive, and we hope the fans like them as well.”
The logos were designed by Tanner Taylor and Rockford-based Exclusive Pro Sports.
“Exclusive Pro Sports is a first-class operation and is always a pleasure to deal with,” said Wickline. “Tanner made the process very easy for us.”
Apparel and novelty items with the new logos will be available for purchase in the coming months.
The Aviators open the season May 17 against the Frontier Greys at Aviators Stadium in Loves Park, Ill. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
The Rockford Aviators are a member of the Frontier League of Professional Baseball. Advertising and season ticket information is available by calling (815) 885-2255.
