Seventh Street from Third Avenue to Fourth Avenue closed for emergency water repairs

Seventh Street from Third Avenue to Fourth Avenue is expected to be closed for up to three business days as the City of Rockford Water Division makes emergency water repairs at 418 Seventh St.

Work was to begin Tuesday, Feb. 26, and the road could be opened by Friday, March 1.

Proper traffic controls are set up. The driving public is to use care when near a work zone.
