Black History Month event at Rockford Public Library

In celebration of Black History Month, Rockford Public Library will host a discussion of the film Django Unchained from 6-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, in the Montague Branch Library Connie Lane Room at 1238 S. Winnebago St. Local community activist, organizer and poet Christopher Sims and Dr. Litesa Wallace will facilitate the conversation. The program will also be streamed live via Facebook, Twitter, and U-stream. Refreshments will be served.
