Aldermanic, RVC Trustees candidate forums rescheduled as a result of expected winter storm

The winter storm forecast for the northern Illinois region has forced the rescheduling of two area candidate forums.

The Next Rockford City Council candidate forum scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, has been postponed to Tuesday, March 12. The forum will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Sullivan Center (former New American Theater building), 118 N. Main St., Rockford.

Also rescheduled as a result of the expected winter storm is the Rock Valley College (RVC) Board of Trustees candidate forum, which was to be Tuesday, March 5. The forum has been rescheduled to noon, Tuesday, March 19, in the Student Center Atrium on RVC’s main campus, 3301 N. Mulford Road, Rockford. The forum will be moderated by Eric Wilson of WREX-TV.
