Cheap Trick guitarist and Rockford native Rick Nielsen, along with his Burpee Museum of Natural History exhibit, “Rick’s Picks: A Lifelong Affair with Guitars & Music,” will be featured on History Channel’s American Pickers at 8 p.m., tonight, Monday, March 11.

American Pickers follows Wolfe and Fritz as they scour the country for hidden gems in basements, garages and barns, meeting quirky characters and sharing their amazing stories with upwards of 5 million viewers each week.

Rick’s Picks,” on display at Burpee Museum, 711 N. Main St., Rockford, through April 10, chronicles Nielsen’s first 40 years with rock band Cheap Trick. Visit or call (815) 965-3433 for more about the exhibit.
