More than 100 consignors and counting. That’s how many Rockford-area families are preparing to take advantage of the nation’s leading children’s and maternity consignment sales event Thursday-Saturday, March 14-16, at Tebala Shrine Center, 7910 Newburg Road, Rockford.
Just Between Friends is a semi-annual kids’ consignment sale. For the past several months, local parents have been busy preparing their new and gently-used clothes and toys for sale during this one-of-a-kind event.
Last year, hundreds of families came out to Tebala Shrine to shop for items that were being made available by area moms whose kids had outgrown them. Shoppers picked up everything from new dresses and shoes to strollers and outdoor playgrounds — all at a fraction of what you would pay for them at retail stores. And, the consignor received a check for their items sold — a win/win.
The sale will run 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Thursday, March 14 ($3 admission); 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Friday, March 15 (free admission); and 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, March 16 (50 percent off day).
