Keith Country Day School’s Theatre Department presents ‘Evita’

The Keith Country Day School Theatre Department presents the classic Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical, Evita, in Keith’s Gaylord Commons.

Evita chronicles Eva Perón’s rise from her humble beginnings in Buenos Aires to the power and greed that catapulted her to worldwide fame.

Evita, with direction, musical staging and production design by Jim Radloff, and musical direction by Gloria Lynn, will be presented at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 6; 2 p.m., Sunday, April 7; 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 12; 2 and 7:30 p.m., Saturday April 13; and 2 p.m., Sunday, April 14. Tickets are $10 at the door.

Featured in the musical are the strong vocals of Zoe Jensen, Luke Miller and Ben Ross. Others in the ensemble include Chloe Hadavas, Mikey Riley, Khaley Caruthers, Khayla Caruthers, Edward Hall, Kaitlyn Oliver, Brette Olpin and Rebekah Smith.

Radloff promises, “This production will be Keith theater at its best and will delight audiences with stunningly emotional performances.”
