Sycamore man arrested on cocaine charges

Eduardo Almanza III, 26, of Sycamore, Ill., has been arrested on multiple drug charges by the Belvidere Police Department’s Narcotics Unit.

Following a three-month investigation, Almanza was arrested March 12 at a house in the 1800 block of Kerrybrook Court in Sycamore, Ill. He has been charged with two counts of unlawful delivery of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a church.

During the arrest, police seized U.S. currency and a vehicle. If found guilty, Almanza could face as many as 30 years behind bars.
