Juvenile captured after leading police on a nearly mile-long foot chase

A juvenile has been taken into custody by Rockford police after leading officers on a nearly mile-long foot chase from Rockford Auburn High School to the 400 block of Carbaugh Avenue. The chase ended around 9:30 a.m., Thursday, March 14.

The juvenile is reportedly a student. The cause of the foot chase is unknown at this time.
