State Police arrest 12 for DUI between Feb. 22 and March 13 in Jo Daviess, Stephenson, Winnebago counties

PECATONICA, Ill. — Illinois State Police District 16 Commander, Captain Jeff Bain, announced the following arrests were made between Feb. 22 and March 13 for driving under the influence (DUI) by District 16 troopers:

Arrested in Jo Daviess County — Angel J. Watson, 33, of Winslow, Ill.

Arrested in Stephenson County — Joseph G. Arola, 19, of Freeport, Ill. (Zero Tolerance).

Arrested in Winnebago County — Jeremy M. Ebersole, 32, of Sterling, Ill.; Jordan Micahel T. Lerma, 22, Rockford; Maja Broekl, 22, of Rockford; Jeremiah A. Griffin, 28, of Elizabeth, Ill.; Thomas E. Groeschel, 25, of Rockton, Ill.; Anastacio Valente, 35, of Beloit, Wis.; Darcie Ann Detert, 26, of Rockford; Thomas J. Castle, 28, of Loves Park, Ill.; Racheal L. Francis, 29, of Rockford; and Maurice L. Calvanese, 48, of Rockford.

The public is reminded that troopers work diligently to remove impaired drivers from Illinois roads. All criminal defendants are presumed innocent until the government is able to prove its charges in court beyond a reasonable doubt.
