Photo: RAMI’s Spring Benefit rocks

The RAMI (Rockford Area Music Industry) Spring Benefit Saturday, March 9, at Tebala Shrine Temple, 7910 Newburg Road, was a great success — the place was packed. Missing Links (pictured), Clutch Cargo and Dirty Fishnet Stockings rocked the Tebala Shrine stage while raising funds for the Gary S. Wilmer Memorial Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school student pursuing a music career at this year’s 22nd RAMI Awards Ceremony Friday, April 19, at the Tebala Shrine Temple. Thanks to Spring Benefit sponsors LaMonica Beverages, Guzzardo Performance Music, Beet Café, CAM Music Entertainment, Sound Concepts, Photobooth Rockford, Randy’s Music Center, Bobby’s On Broadway, Alpine Bank and Tebala Shrine Temple. Mark your calendars for the April 6 RAMI Youth Charity Jam at the Tebala Shrine Temple at 5:30 p.m. See six new bands featuring area high school students, coordinated by In Youth We Trust.
